||Keerthi Kumar Ravoori is a prominent Indian American community leader who actively served the community for over 20 years. In his leadership capacity, he served premier community organizations FIA and IADO as Vice President. His passion to work in the humanitarian/charitable organizations is evident as he actively served in Care & Share International organization for 10 years and helped raise funds for United Negro College Fund and Meals on Wheels programs in Chicago.
Mr. Ravoori receives the credit for his pioneering effort to have the Indian flag hoisted in down town which has now become an annual tradition. He has worked tirelessly with a community partner in securing “Mahatma Gandhi Marg” – an honorary name designated for Devon Ave. street that covers the India Town and was solely responsible for obtaining “Mother Teresa Way” on California & Devon Ave in honor of Mother Teresa and Indo American Center.
Mr. Ravoori has been a recipient of many distinguished awards for his community and civic contributions from the Governor, Mayor and Secretary of State. In his professional capacity, he served as the Director of Administration with City of Chicago and is currently engaged in consultancy practice. Mr. Ravoori has served the Indian American community with distinction and highest devotion for over two decades.
